Julie grew up in the small town of Wilton, New Hampshire
(pop. 2700), and is the second of five children. As a child,
she was intellectually gifted, reading books at the age of 2 years
and became the first student at Wilton Elementary School to skip a
grade in 1980. Julie is also very artistically talented. She
joined her first onstage production at the tender age of 5 as Pierre
in Pierre and the Lion. Continuing to excel in her studies
as an honor roll student, she continued to persue her artistic bent
by auditioning for professional productions at the age of 8.
A few years and many productions later, Julie discovered that this
was her true love; to make people happy, to laugh, to cry, and to help them to escape their everyday problems by performing
for them. |
| By the age of 17, she had taken part in over 20 stage productions
including The Little Prince, Five Children,Harriet the Spy, and Regarding Electra. Determined to make it, she worked
her way through modeling school and began competing in pageants.

Julie's car slid out of control on black ice and slammed into a telephone
pole, head-on, on a stormy winter day while driving home from school.
She sustained life-threatening injuries. As the jaws of life

noticed the complete dismemberment of her right knee and terrible
lacerations to the right side of her face, a major artery was severed |

In late 1992, Julie began her college career at Boston's renowned
Regis College, mostly on scholarships she had been awarded.
It was while at Regis that she discovered a love for travel.
On a tour to Italy with the combined choirs of Regis and Worcester
Polytechnic Institute, she had the opportunity to sing for Pope John
Paul II at the Vatican in Rome. While preparing to graduate
in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in television broadcasting
and a minor in the fine arts, Julie was crowned Miss New Hampshire

titleholders. |

In the spring of 1996, on the same day that Julie auditioned for
the Yale School of Drama's graduate program, she was honored with
the Jaycee's Outstanding Young Citizen of New Hampshire award.
Upon graduation, the world was her oyster. Julie was lured to the lights, camera, action of Hollywood by a talent manager that saw her during the Miss USA pageant. In January 1997, with $600 in her pocket, 3 suitcases, and a dream, she left the comfort of family and friends, and boarded a one-way flight to Los Angeles.
Quickly becoming a familiar face, Julie has appeared in TV shows
such as Aaron Spelling's Titans, Baywatch, Blind Date, Diagnosis
Murder, ER, and CSI. Her movie credits |

and a walk-on role in Charlie's Angels as a geisha girl!
In addition to acting and hosting, Julie served as a spokes model
for Millennium Putters and EZ Prompters, and as a print model for
several different projects. In addition, she was nationally
recognized as an author for writing a savvy article in Pageantry
Magazine's Spring 2001 issue for their Breaking into Showbiz column and is an official judge of the Miss USA Pageant system. |

After working closely with a Malibu, CA film company, developing
their independent films, Julie decided to start producing her own
TV show in 2003. This amazing and inspiring show became called, The American Spirit, and is produced through Julie's own production company, JMG Productions.
The American Spirit is inspired by Julie's life experiences.
Julie uses the camera to focus the spotlight on those that inspire
and give back without a desire for anything in return. Her
guests have ranged from a World War II hero from the Battle of the
Bulge in Germany, to a multi-millionaire turned flight school benefactor/instructor/mentor
for inner city children, to one of Hollywood's foremost beauty experts.
Everyone knows someone inspiring! It's the spirit that's in
all of us!
In addition, Julie continued to exhibit her entrepreneurial skills by founding and operating Pageant Prints, a company that caters to pageant printing needs, for contestants and directors alike, from 2003-2007. She continues her passion of pageants and live events by coordinating weddings and producing other live events part-time.

On June 23, 2008, Julie married to her longtime boyfriend and business partner of 5 years, David W. Everitt, and is now known as Julie Minta Gleneck-Everitt. Dave and Julie met at the National Association of Broadcasters conference in Las Vegas in March 2000, but didn’t start dating until 2003. Dave then worked at RFX/Silicon Grail (a 7 time academy award-winning Hollywood special effects studio) as Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication in charge of live events. He now owns his own technology company and edits for films part time.
